These prints come from a day spent as Artist in Residence at Wildside Exotic Animal Rescue, a sanctuary in the Wye Valley for wild animals not native to the UK, rescued from the exotic pet trade. Animals taken into domestic life that were never suited to it, now given back some real ground of their own. It's a question I keep returning to in the studio, met here directly, what does it take for something wild to hold its own territory again, once human hands have already shaped what it is allowed to be. A share of every sale goes directly towards the care of the animals at Wildside.
